Well, My first attempt with Nagura's did turn out well. Got the bevel set. At least I thought so. it looked good to me and felt good with the TNT. Then went to 4K till the scratches were much less....

Thanks for the reply guys. I think I'll start with 4k just to get a bit of a head start on it. Dont think I'll get the chance tonight as I've been taking care of honey-do's. Its non stop it feels...

So maybe i should go to 4k or 8k before nagura? I had planned on 8k before i started reading info but i didnt want to go backwards. Is 8k too far?

Ive watched one vid so far so i got an idea on how to use Nagura stones. Going to watch a few more before atempting this. But a question... im guessing that after the bevel is set, which i will do on...

I see that now. Thanks for pointing it out. When i took the pic i was trying to get the markings showing but i had no idea of what they said and if i got them so you could see them.
