    Default Shave 18 July 2013

Experimental shave this morning. Shave oil only, no lather, no water until the final rinse. I tried shaving just using my Somerset's English Shave oil, which I normally just use as a pre-shave. Things went surprisingly well. I spread on about five drops worth right after the shower while I went and got on some pants and then stropped my razor. I used about three more drops right before starting my first WTG pass, and then three drops between each pass. The shave went surprisingly comfortably and I ended up with a DFS. I do recommend using some astringent like witch hazel or an alum block afterwards though.

Thanks for the kind words, razorguy. I thought the razor and the music would make a fine combination. Stay well.

Itzhak? I'd cut myself if he was on when I was shaving. Try this:
