    Thursday evening
    Hot water prep
Wade & Butcher's For Barbers Use hollow ground spike point razor - Custom Silvertip Badger Brush - Acca Kappa 1869 cream - cold water splash - Thayer's Rose witch hazel resplash - Acca Kappa 1869 balm - steaming hot towel - Penhaligon's Eau de Verveine EdT

An overall relaxing shave enjoyed to the xylophone tunes of Cal Tjader. Brought me right back to movie scenes from the 60's and 70's.
The blade had received a fresh edge on the new coticule last week, but it's a tad bit sharpish and not smoothish. Need to work on that a bit. The new coti needs getting used to and this is just part of that process.
I take it with a smile, because I genuinely like honing. It's Zen.
Went for the close-up shot in B/W today.
