11-17-2013, 05:20 PM #31May this week get things back on track for you all!
Razor: Ralf Aust 6/8ths
Soap: Al's Bomb "Calypso"
Mug: German
Brush: German Badger
Splash: Granny Juice
The Day? Rain and chill. The Shave? A rather Aust-ere Shave. Although this is the first time off the hones, two passes were a pleasure. Needs a bit of finesse The old brush is a gem and the #4711 is a good, if mild, afterthought.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

Thanked: 375Prep: Hot Towel Brush: #3 Rubberset Silvertip Soap: L'Occitane Cade Razors: Weber (Head shave) & Packwood ASW: RazoRock 888 Stache and Goatee Control: Stache Bomb
I had trouble with this Packwood, for the life of me I could not get the bevel set. Of course I posted about it here, and the great people here on SRP gave me great suggestion's. A week later I ended up doubling up on my Electrical tape, and marking the edge with a sharpie. As I suspected I was getting the whole edge, and the sharpie confirmed it. The two layers of electrical tape was key! And Boom! Gave me a great shave this morning. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

Today and yesterday for me was spent on a training course, which has resulted in night time shaves for me. It also meant that I didn't have good light for taking pictures. Todays shave was a repeat set up of a previous shave, so I'm reusing that picture.Keith
