    Finish - Thayers witch hazel with aloe vera

    As always, a great Filly shave.
    A little breeze up here at altitude but clear skies and pleasant temperatures. Time to head out for a hike.

    Looks like quite a hailstorm. How did your roof fare? Any damage?

    When we had a hailstorm like that here in Indianapolis several years ago, many of the roofs were severely damaged and had to be replaced, including mine.

    Very rare. About the turn of the 20th Century, aluminum was as expensive as gold. I have only run across two Al. Scaled razors. None were 6/8ths or larger.

    Thank you Gentlemen. The seller believed this to be the 200th anniversary razor, based on the logo on the blade that was in gold wash, but it was worn, so he polished it away. On one hand, too bad, on the other it gives peace of mind that I don't have to worry about it anymore. If it indeed is the anniversary razor, then this would make it 1931 and indeed rare for something so fancy in the years of crisis. I'll post some more pics in the #14 topic. Cheers, Herman
