Exactly a year since my Dad passed away. Time flies. Having started shaving in the 50's I figured he never touched a straight razor in his life. So, today's shave was a DE, to honour one of the most honest men in my life. I miss you Dad.

I'm not a photographer, and this was just taken on my bathroom counter with my cell phone, but I'd say this was my first legitimate BBS shave and really free of irritation! No nicks and no need to touch up with the DE.
Prep: Hot shower, AOS lemon pre-shave oil
Lather: AOS lemon cream
Brush: Silvertip badger from Whippeddog
Razor: Joseph Rodgers and Sons
Aftershave: Aqua Velva Ice Blue
ASB: Aveeno unscented
