Thumbs up Sunday Morning - KISS shave

Doing some tests on a SRP Williams #043 to be exact...

My friend DonV and I traded razors a while back, he wanted to try out a Kamisori and wanted me to tweak in the Williams, so we exchanged razors you should try it sometime...

Anyway I went with my Nakayama on the edge tweak and that brought out a really smooth edge, second shave on this edge and I am pretty happy..

Since it was an edge test I went with a "Simple" shave routine

Hot shower, leaving the brush to soak in very hot water while I showered, tossed some hot water on the MWF at the same time..
Made up a good creamy lather on the face and let it setup while I stropped in the razor 20/40 on an SRD premium 1 strop..
After the stropping I went WTG, re-lather XTG, single splash rinse leaving a slick coating of water, 3rd pass with zero stretching and a super light touch..
Cold water rinse, followed by a healthy splash of Aqua Velva...

    Really nice shave..

    Sunday
    Hot water prep
Cadman & Sons Bengall razor - Custom Silvertip Badger brush - Coate's shaving cream - cold water splash - Thayer's green resplash - L'Oreal balm - hot towel - Lorenzo Villoresi Piper Nigrum EdT

A very nice shave. I think the Bengall still has potential to be even smoother, so we will re-visit the hones. BBS nonetheless... just looking for that "effortless edge". A crazy busy weekend. The shave was a warm tranquillising welcome. Have a great week gentlemen!
