Excellent shave this morning. This is the only factory brush I own and it took more than a few attempts to find a Simpsons in best that I liked but this is a good one. Have a good one.

Shavemac Americana D01 3 band badger

    Floris "JF" Aftershave splash

Tabac is the dominant part of my September Song... The shave soap was once my desert island soap and there is a reason why. Wonderful creamy lather and a scent that wakes me up with a comforting warm spicy goodness that is unique. The Heljestrand Swedish steel glides with a high pitched singing on the handcrafted Japanese shell of the Kanayama. Cloaked in Genuine Hawksbill Tortoise it ( the pair actually) is my Holy Grail set of razors. The Floris "JF" splash with its full on punch of citrus is a perfect foil to the warm spicy goodness remnants of Tabac. Expensive yes, but adds the refreshing finish to a very masculine shave. The Tabac hair cream has been a constant for the last four years and is ancillary to the grooming experience as is the Tabac Luxury bath soap in the shower as is the Tabac Deo stick.

Some time in September I will source more Tabac products to incorporate but for now I will journal the particulars about my established setup daily through September and enjoy the well rounded enjoyment it provides!
Interesting you posted this...for awhile, the Tabac was an occasional soap, along with the MWF, but lately, have been drawn more and more to the Tabac. I agree, there is something, for me, very utilitarian yet elegant about it, same with the MWF to a different degree, but the Tabac has been what I've been reaching for more and more lately.

Interesting and thanks for your observations.
