Decently comfortable shave, but not close.

The Sample is getting a little better. Definitely sharper this time around, but it caught a bunch on the ATG pass, and gave me a nick on my chin. Needs more tuning.

And as much as I love the Barbus soap, it tends to make my brush "waterproof" -- the glycerol?

Great shave nice and smooth.

Shower and very hot rinse for a minute then;

Proraso pre/post for 5 min
Lathered up some Taylors shaving shop cream with EJ bb brush

Stropped up my Lewis roundpoint on TM red latigo
Lather up, one with, one against and one across and a final against the grain

Hot and cold rinse
Alum block for a couple of minutes then cold rinse

Thayers witch hazel and lemon with aloe
Proraso a/s balm
Giorgio Armani EDT

Loved all 50 minutes of it

Great shave. Sadly, the GDS is nearly gone after 9 months of daily use. I reckon I've got maybe another week out of it before it's time to make the momentous decision on the next soap.
