Very nice shave. The French *Damascus* frameback exceeded my expectations. The Engels was good but had a very tough act to follow. It'll probably get some hone love before sending.

Trumper's violet: after scraping it with a pumice stone and nails to get the top layer off (prompted by Michael's advice,) I think it finally performs as it is supposed to - easy and nice lather (lathering on face).
