    Beautiful razor by the way
It has just a slight curve to the tip, not a real exaggerated one. Maybe 2 mm. I didn't want a W&B style, just a hint.

And thanks. I really am pleased with the way it turned out.

    Default Vanilla Skies

Well that might not be so far off, from what the weather men is saying we might be having Vanilla Skies for real here again starting today, over a foot of snow is in the forcast....
First shave on this razor today I scored quite a few razors in the last few weeks and have been slowly getting them restored and shave ready...
Sometimes I think I like the restoration almost as much as shaving......ALMOST!!!!!

    Hot STEAMING towel prep
Soak the bowl and the soap to warm them up

    Vanilla Skies Uberlather:
Kiss my Face Vanilla Earth shave creme
    Classic Vanilla shave soap
    Pure Glycerin

    Shavemac 28mm ebony
    Hot water rinse
    Lather up lightly
Quick 20 laps on leather (been awhile since this on was restored)
Koken Barber Supply - "Crank" Sway Back 5/8's
    Hot Steaming towel over lather
    Lather up
    WTG Pass
    Hot water rinse
    Re-lather
    XTG pass
    Re-lather
    ATG touch up
    Hot water rinse
    Cold water splash
    Thayers Lemon WH
This is not a bad little shaver at all, I am really growing to like these sway backs with a slight smile!!!!!
Kick back and watch some TV, Drink my Kona Coffee(with French Vanilla creme)
    Write this
    Hot Shower
    Royall Bay Rhum AS
    Then off to work!!!!

The "Artist", Hamberg Ground, Germany 11/16 (probably was 6/8 originally, but I had to rebevel this *a lot* due to rust spots on edge with DMT 600 diamond whetstone - maybe 100 passes - then 40 passes on translucent Arkansas stone w/ water, all after sanitizing in full alcohol immersion for 20 mins -> hair popping sharp after all this!)
stropped 50x with 3 micron Ryobi white rouge (*really* hair popping sharp now!)
unscented Kiss My Face shave cream, whipped into meringuey lather with WBUR mug and a neon cat throwup boar bristle shave brush (check out that brush!)
    1x WTG
1x ATG (except XTG above moustache and below lip - sporting the goatee)
1x XTG (except for above and below lips... 2 passes was all I need there)
1 slice needed styptic stick (dominant side jowl, 2nd time this has happened to me, I have to be careful there)
homemade lime AS (alcohol, witch hazel, water, glycerin, juice of plastic lime + 40 drops lime essential oil... what a difference the oil makes! It smells like a key lime pie now!)
