    My first shave with this Eskilstuna, bought it in the classifieds, and I really liked it...very smooth shave, my guess is that the honing was the key...

    For a test, I didn't shave on Tuesday and Wednesday... it was really hard to leave the house unshaved. Very good shave this morning

    Beard Prep: Hot wash
    Razor: Jolly Rodger 6/8 wedge
    Strop: Dovo 40 canvas/ 40 Leather
    Brush: Kent
    Soap: Tabac
    Astringent: Alum Block
    AS: Tabac
    Result: A little stubble on the jawline and a tiny nick that bled and bled
    Conclusion: Good good shave as usual from the J Rodger, was a little rushed but still a very good shave

    BTW Max, I see you use Thayers Witch Hazel a lot I take it you like it, any chance you know of somewhere this side of the pond that I may get some? I use Boots own occasionally but its just "O.K."
