So in the spirit of sharing pictures I have todays SOTD from my laptop.

Razor: Red Point. Nothing else I have tried stacks up
    Soap: Kell's Arabian Spice
    Brush: Rooney 1/2 in Best
Music: 54 74 90 2010 by Sportfreunde Stiller in order to psyche myself up for German domination in World Cup 2010

Result: Easily best straight shave I have had so far. Hands down. My one complaint is that the Rooney 1/2 is a little big for me. I did, however, trade for it instead of buying it so I can't complain I suppose. I think I'm going to try to swap if I can find someone with a 1/1 in best that wants something a little bigger. That isn't a solicitation though.

(Unless you have one and want to trade )

    Cool SOTD Dec 7

Preparation: A hot shower, splashed very warm water on face and applied Proraso Pre shave cream.
Brush: Vulfix best badger hair. A favor this small brush over the more expensive Omega Silver tip badger...it allows me to exfoliate my beard better than the bulbous silver tip.
Razor: Ern Ator restored by Maximiliam.
Soap: First application (without glycerin) accomplished two passes WTG and XTG. Had to load the brush again with MWF and applied five drops of glycerin. Boy worked up a thick merengue like lather in my scuddle....very cushiony for the final matador pass...ATG.
    Astringent: Thayers Lemon
    AS: Proraso Splash
Eau du cologne: Guerlain Imperiale. A lemony light cologne that complimented the Proraso.

Background music: JS Bach. Concerto for 2 violins, strings and continuo in D Minor.

    Good day, gentlemen!

For any of you who have been following my honing saga, this is my fifth day honing and I'm proud to say, it went well.

    Cream: Musgo Real
Pre-shave prep: A little Dove conditioner I stole from my wife's side of the shower. Hey, if it makes my hair softer, why not my beard too?
Brush: iKon Razors genuine jadeite 24mm chubby
Razor: Dubl Duck Wonderedge 11/16 Round Point honed by MEEEEEE!!!
AS: Cool water, followed by Rochas Man ASB.
    Result: BBS!!!!!

And all is well in the world.

Amazing shave today! Near perfect BBS with one pass. Only a couple tiny spots. But just fantastic. This was my first time using proraso and my second time using my fidour. The first time was not as good.

    Soap/Cream=Proraso
    Pre shave oil=Pacific
    Brush=TAOS
    Razor=Henckels 8/8 Friodur

    Tuesday's shave:
    Brush: Tweezerman Silvertip
Cream: The Body Shop Maca Root
Razor: EJ 89 w/ fresh Derby blade
    AS: Nivea replenishing balm
    Shave: 5/10

The lather looked amazing but lacked slick or moisturising (will add glycerin next time to see if it helps). However, the worst part of the shave was the burn and nicks from the fresh out of the packet Derby blade.
I have reached the conclusion that I hate these blades, they always make me bleed and give me razor burn compared to my Astra blades. I shall therefore keep them only in case of a sudden summer blizzard that lasts more than a month (I have 4 Astra blades left - they'll last me 4 shaves each at least, and I shave every 3 or 4 days) and prevents me from getting out to buy another 5 pack of Astra blades.

Razor: F. Reynolds aka"Baby Arms" full wedge
    Brush: Simpson t4
Lather: SRD Bulgarian Rose shave soap
    Aftershave: Alt-Innsbruck

I apologize to my SOTD comrades-in-arms but I'm currently painting the interior of my house, so my photography of my SOTD has been ceased for the moment.
