Awe thanks Guys, can anyone (Max) tell me anymore about Palmera? I know they closed about 20 yrs ago, but thats about it
I have to say, straight out the box and just stropped this Razor gave the smoothest lightest shave I have ever felt, its so so easy and a real joy to use that I may have to off load some of my collection, becuase I fear they will feel shabby by comparisson!

Undervalued razors. They take an incredible edge and shave as well as the Filly. Mine was originally a round point but I quickly changed that to a square point. I have seen an early Palmera 14 that said Solingen "Hugo Herkenrath". Apparently Palmera #14 blanks were produced in Solingen by "Hugo Herkenrath". Story goes this was the same case with the Filarmonicas but they were ground in Spain by José Monserrat Pou. At least in the early 1920's.
