    Default SOTD Hobby Week

    Shaving Cream: Knize Ten
    Brush: Trumper's Ivory Handle
    Razor: Heljestrand 1867 faux frameback
    After Shave: Ogallala Bay Rum
Results: Quite close even though only one pass and I am very sure this has to do with the cold shave - this really works!
Hobby: Chinese Calligraphy - it's actually been quite a while since I've picked up the brush outside of my evening class on Thursday but here is some amateur characters on practice paper I did at home.

Please keep posting your SOTD; they're always wonderful to look at.
Hi heirkb! Thanks for the kind words. Love your photos as well.

We've switched cities. I'm originally from NYC. I don't miss it that much though especially with rough winters like this year. Hope all is well with you in the big apple!

Music: New York, New York George Russell
Razor: Dubl Duck Special No. 1 in Ebony
    Brush: Semogue 2009 LE Boar
    Soap: Yardley
    Astringent: Ogallala Bay Rum
    AS: L'Occitane Cade
Result: Very smooth, but a reminder that my technique and face aren't hip enough yet to shave this often. Good thing I don't need to.

With all the guns on display I thought I'd fly my freak flag high and proud today. I'm not Buddhist but I can dig their arts and culture. This singing bowl isn't mystical or enchanted, but does excite the ears and lower blood pressure. I also dig the overtone singing. The Tuvan's took it several steps further and developed many styles of overtone and throat singing, which I have been practicing for 10 years now.
