Part of my addiction to the ocean, between surfing, scuba diving, and keeping a coral reef, I give you my favorite beach in the whole world, to those who know it's called Hemlocks, very very secluded, long 1 mile walk down to the beach through sand and brush. I have surfed some amazing waves here, and probably the closest I ever felt to nature/god.

Prep: Wash face with glycerin soap, massage Cremo Cream into beard followed by hot
towel.
Brush: Barbershop Badger/Boar Combo (my father’s brush).
Cream: Musgo Real.
Razor: Filarmonica Doble Temple #13.
Post: Thayer’s Witch Hazel, Musgo Real Splash & Balm.
A real treat. I use my father’s brush only once or twice a year, so those shaves are always special.
I’ve been experimenting with the Cremo during pre-shave preparation. I’m currently undecided.
I’m sparing you another fly rod photo and went conventional tonight.

Hobby #3: Cigars. I collect, so to speak, and enjoy cigars. Typically with a bourbon or scotch. I currently have just over 500 various stoges in various humidors either at home or my office. Pictured here we have a wonderful Ashton VSG Belicoso No. 1 with Dominican filler and a rich Ecuadorean sun-grown wrapper. This cigar has been in my humidor for probably a year and a half. The amber liquid the VSG rests above is my all time favorite bourbon, Blanton's Original Single Barrel.

Friday Morning...
Sometimes the pen is mightier than the sword.
True, This! —
Beneath the rule of men entirely great,
The pen is mightier than the sword. Behold
The arch-enchanters wand! — itself a nothing! —
But taking sorcery from the master-hand
To paralyse the Cæsars, and to strike
The loud earth breathless! — Take away the sword —
States can be saved without it! - Edward Bulwer-Lytton, "Richelieu; Or the Conspiracy" (1839)
Another hobby of mine is collecting pens--especially fountain pens.
