    Otto,

A nice travel setup if you ask me. I also use a DE, Proraso and a travel brush (G F Trumper) when I'm on the road.

BTW...That looks like a Merkur trvel DE to me. Can you disassemble the handle to pack it in the leather travel case?

Yes you can. The handle disassembles in two pieces, one fits inside the other. I bought it around 1987 if I remember correctly...

One of my more recently acquired pipes - a rather large (IMO) Holtorp freehand bridge with beautiful straight grain. I really like Danish pipes, straight grain, and nice plateaued rims. I also really love the way the bridge looks.[/QUOTE]

That is a beutiful pipe! I only have one.....How many would you recommend to ow? Or is it like razors? instead of RAD is it PAD?

    nightbreed,

It appears that your interest in sharp things extends beyond that of str8 razors. That is some beautiful kitchen cutlery for practicing the culinary craft. Congratulations.

To cool. Although I've dabbled in coins a little now and then (just a little - purely amateur), I never knew about trade dollars. Very interesting - as they say, you learn something new everyday. Thanks for sharing this very interesting tidbit Hawkeye.

I've been playing didg since 2000, this is one I picked up on a visit to Melbourne a few years back. Made by Djalu Gurruwiwi, hand picked by me out of dozens of others for its great harmonics.

    Hey everyone, shave on.
