Ah, You have the new bowl... I'm halfway between that and the Bulldog mug.. I was afraid the bowl's lip would actually get in the way with my smaller brushes... keep them from reaching the edges... How is yours doing? What are your thoughts and feelings on it?

This is not the newest bowl. It is the precursor to the new bowl. I want to get the new one. It is a little deeper. The one I have is fine and the lip keeps the lather in the bowl where it belongs. No more going over the sides. I would like it to be a little deeper and apparently they felt the same because the new one is.

    • Wacker "Old Sheffield" 7/8
    • Carriem's "Lilac"

The Wacker loves the Coticule and the SRD Premium IV Bridle a lot. The wife loves the Lilac. Me, I love the result: relaxing, refreshing, smooth.

Razor; Case Brothers Cutlery Co LV NY Tested XX
    Brush; AoS Pure Badger
    Soap; TGQ Desert Ironwood cream
    Strop; Tony Miller Latigo
    Bowl; Lodge Iron pot

Testing the Asagi tonight, while I think I got a good hone off it I'm not 100% just yet, still getting used to it. I also didn't use my usual Cro2 leather just to see where this stone is at... More on this in a nother post...

Shave was gook but not great, plus it's the first shave with this razor.

    Thanks Lu,

Thursday the wife took me out for dinner over at Brio (an italian restaurant) in Pembroke Pines. Yesterday, I was also treated out for dinner..although Ma did not shaved me; she gave me a few gifts herself..I turned 55 years old...life is good. HOG
