Lovely shave, until I nicked myself right under the nose - went in to steep with the blade . Then I nicked myself AGAIN, I think it was due to the fact I never managed to get rid of the bad mojo from the first nick Clean enough shave though. Nice blade and, as someone wrote yesterday, Sham hones very nice edges - shamomac edges

I'd never mug lathered a shavestick before but it seemed to work out very well. I started by crayoning the shavestick on my face as normal. I then loaded a damp brush directly off the shavestick and whipped up lather in my mug. I then took the brush to my already soaped down face and there was my first pass. The mug full of lather was floated in a sink full of hot water while I completed my first pass. There was ample warm lather for a second pass and finishing face wash. Very nice shave too. I normally sport Jovan Musk with Speick but just wasn't feeling it this morning so I just grabbed what felt good.
