Yes she has. That was my final shave with her before mailing her off to her new home.

Oh yea.... It was time for me to put up or shut up. I'm loving the Thater; she's definitely softer than my Semogue 730 and much more dense/more backbone. It was love at first lather...

This is also my first shave using The Gentlemen's Quarter Soap. Love the smell of this one, Armani Black Code, so did the wife.
Welcome! Nice shot, don´t worry about the size, I did the same and felt the same way my first post, but it looks great! Try and set your camera to one notch higher resulotion and see what happens ...

    Default Tuesday morning

    Pre: Hot shower
    Razor: Engström 6/8
Brush: Custom 24 mm two banded finest
    Soap: Omega
    Post: Proraso
    AS: Dr Harris Sandalwood
    Strop: Neil Miller linnen/buffalo 40/60
Result: Best in a long time - Estupendo!
First time with this razor. I´ve got another Engström that also is a very good shaver, but totaly different style of blade. I didn´t have much in it for this old girl, looks like any other german hallow type and, well, I wasn´t that impressed by the looks. But boy was I wrong about her, she´s a bless to shave with

Otto, your razor is fantastic! Definitely the stuff of Dubl Duck porn.

    Hot Shower
    Vitamin E Oil Pre-shave
    Wade and Butcher Wedge
    Semogue 2000
    Omega Eucalyptus Soap
    Mentholated Witch Hazel/Aqua Velva Classic
    Davidoff Cool Water

It just doesn't get much better than this! This razor is fast becoming the best of the fleet. I also mug lathered the Omega soap and floated the mug in a sink full of really hot water (scuttle effect). Provided 3 passes of warm mentholated lather and a BBS shave. The mentholated hazel and Aqua Velva Classic kept the tight, menthol face going and the Cool Water provided a nice finish. This really was the standard for BBS shaves and this razor, despite it's early edge problems has come on strong recently and really delivered some epic shaves.
The older I get, the better I was

    Wellington 6/8" with Sham-o-Matic Edge* | D.R. Harris Arlington | Kent BLK-2

    * The patent pending "Sham-o-Matic" edge causes whiskers to jump from their follicles and run for their lives even months after honing. Of course, actually touching the razor to the skin provides a more consistent BBS result. Available only from hi_bud_gl.
