I got up a bit early so I could get in a nice quiet shave before she even rolls out...

    Nice long hot shower..
Mix up the "Bay Rum Bomb Uberlather", using some of Razzmatazz's Bay Bomb and a dash of KMF unscented and 5 drops of glycerin...
I whip that up in the super heavy glass lather cup the wife found for me, with the Restored Old Spice brush, that 24mm Silvertip makes it into a creamy delight...
I slap on a steaming hot towel for a minute or two then work in a layer of Das Uber... While that settles in, I take my TI 6/8-7/8 dressed up in some of my own Molten Metal scales and tweak the edge up with 25 laps on webbing and 50 laps on that buttery soft SRD Premium 1 strop....Another steaming hot towel over the lather followed by a splash of hot water, and I apply the creamy goodness for effect this time...
A WTG pass, a hot water rinse, take the time to re-lather and go multi-directional for the second pass... Another hot water rinse, and then a touch up pass, with just the clear hot water, gets everything BBS and nice tight straight lines...
I apply an Alum Block and clean up the brush and razor, a cold water rinse, followed by the iced towel feels so good.... A double splash of Bois D' Inde Bay Rum tops it off...
    What a great shave!!!!

You guys have a great day, I know I am planning on it...

    Glen,
Don't you love those Eagle Brand TI's? They are fantastic shavers. Awesome scales BTW.

That "ATV day" sounds like fun...Would love to hear how it was after you get back. Have a great time

Today is a milestone in my shaving career... (1) My 100th straight razor shave! It's been a helluva ride, and things just keep getting better and better. I've learned an awful lot in the last four months.. Alot of 7 and 8 pass shaves because I needed the practice, but (2) I feel I have arrived. Not an expert, but I'm quite comfortable in all situations with both hands... No longer an apprentice, (3) I consider myself a journeyman. I'll always be learning, but I'm well on my way!

Sensitive products today, for a sensitive guy... sniff, sniff...

And, in the inimitable words of my friend and mentor, Sir Ralfy... Shave On!!

    Bill...awesome post.

    1) Congrats
    2) This is only a stop to one of many milestones along this fascinating "journey".
    3) Aren't we all?

Result: Today (well at least later on, after I wake up) will be about letting the face take a Sunday break ...I still plan on using my post-shave regimen, but face will not have the usual BBS feel, which I do not mind at all. I must say though, I will miss a good shave.

I will meet up another member (aka, nubskillz) during the day and exchange some shave stories, coffee and a good time. We're sure to visit the local AOS shop and another shop called "Oh U", which I have heard has many good shaving supplies...great, exactly what we need to control our R.A.D

Have a great Sunday guys . Will be back online with my regular SOTD routine Monday.
    Robert,

That person in your photo looks just like one of my former students.
