Tuesday morning
Pre: Hot shower
Razor: E G Gustavsson
Brush Chris 24 mm finest two band
Soap: Nannys Citrus Zinger
Post: Proraso
AS: Old Spice Fresh Lime, Shulton mix
Strop: Neil Miller linnen/buffallo 30/50
Result: Very clean and nice shave
Following the theme with a shot of our back yard, through the ktichen door window (rainy day today). This rather small near wedge shaves like a champ, usually I don´t like them to small (sturdy fingers and all), but I love this blade and how she shaves.Last edited by Mikael; 08-17-2010 at 09:18 AM.

By now you guys probably know the travel set up...
The Rex reminded me this morning what happens when you lose focus with a straight in your hand. I was having a great, smooth shave. The first 2/3 of my WTG pass I was thinking of JimmyHAD's signature admonition to keep a light touch on the razor. Then I let my mind wander to work. Next thing I know, I feel this sharp sting at the corner of my jaw just under my lip. I'd stopped moving the razor blade first and instead started a slicing motion. I knew it would be bad when I felt it! So I gave myself a nice inch long slice as a reminder that you can either be in charge, or the razor will take charge for you!
Despite the lesson learned, a DFS!
Here's to the great shaves, and may you all learn from my lesson so that you need not experience it yourselves!

I feel your pain
Oouuuuchhh Bill. I do feel your pain. See...work can be hazardous to one's health.
Hmmmm...maybe you can change your nickname to Scarface. Kiddin' of course. Don't worry...your face will heal.
Love your travel setup man...even though it seems like you're tired of it
