SOTD - 'HOME THEME' - Sun August 22nd - Sat August 28th
.
Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W Razor: Wade & Butcher - 'The Celebrated' 7/8 - 3/4 Hollow Brush: Simpson PJ 3 Cream: Edwin Jagger - Sea Buckthorn Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel AS: Aqua Velva EDT: Davidoff Echo Shooting Data Camera: Nikon D200 Lens: Nikon 17-55 F/2.8G ED DX Sensivity: Iso 100 Focal lenght: 26mm Exposure Mode: Aperture Priority Metering Mode: Multi Pattern F-Stop: F/11 Shutter speed: 1/60 sec Exposure compensation: -0.3EV The picture shot was taken a few minutes from my house and is pretty much what you see facing West. Photographed is not a Joshua Tree but a 'Mojave Yucca' which is a Mojave desert native plant, very slow growing, reaching 6-7 feet in height and 2-3 feet in width. They are scattered all over the scenery. Results: I had an amazing shave with the W&B. I finished the edge on a vintage coticule and 'oh boy' was this baby smooth and sharp at the same same. I'm a happy man. Wishing everyone an excellent SOTD.

Motto today:
get a shave with products from Saxony and you walk on air!
My house is surrounded by trees. For that reason I'll show you a picture of the Castle of Glauchau. Parts of this castle exist since 1170 A.D.
If you like more impressions from Saxony and Thuringia feel free to take a look at the following gallery:

Razor: 11/16 Robert Klaas, Prussia, Full Hollow, Spike Point
Pre-Shave: Proraso Crema Pre Barba
Shaving Cream/Shaving Soap: Real Shave Co. SC + Classic Shaving Sandalwood SS
Lather Bowl: Ceramic
Scuttle: RAB Ceramic
Brush: Semogue Boar 1460
ASB: Nivea Replenishing
Aftershave/Cologne: Ogallala Bay Rum
Results: Uberlather (?) Tried this and wasn't much impressed. I didn't have any Glycerin to put into it but in general I would rather just use Shave Creams.
Since testing all those shave creams a while back, I can't get excited about the Shave Soaps anymore.
