    Yet another rainy day..

Aura Glow as a Pre Shave Oil
Gentlemen's Best Signature Series Shave Soap
    Semogue SOC Boar
Krusius Bros. KB Extra 67 5/8ths
SRD Premium 1 Strop ... 40 Linen/80 Leather... And luvin' it!
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel

The Weatherman is conspiring against me to make my SOTD photos more difficult, and he's calling for two more days of the same... My only hope is that they are generally wrong!
The KB Extra got some love on the hones this A.M., A little touch-up before today's shave... Fantastic!

Results: Differently from my last shave, on this one I stuck with what I know as far as soap and balm are concerned and it paid off. Amazingly smooth shave, even if the razor is definitely too big for my face/hands. I loved this razor and this shave in general, and I will now be on the prowl for a smaller fili (if there is such a thing... and if you got one get at me ;D ).
Thanks again for the opportunity to shave with such an awesome razor Robert.

Take a nice long got the day off shower

The Vintage Scuttle is warming in the sink full of hot water with just a touch on top of the Prairie Creations Tahitian Amber Soap...
The Re-stored 24mm Silvertip solid Brass brush is soaking in the water gaining heat...
After the shower I load the brush straight off the soap and work it into a lather on the face. As that softens the whiskers I strop up the Kamisori style King Pelican on the matching Nichiri strop (man I like the linen on this) 25/50 linen/leather. A steaming hot towel over the lather twice and a splash of hot water sets up the next bout of lathering... The first pass with this razor is a multi directional, followed by another steaming towel...
Re-lather and a slow touch up pass gets all the lines straight as can be, hot water rinse and the alum bar... Cold water rinse and an iced towel cool down the face for the shock of the Osage Rub Aftershave WOW !!!!

The pic was taken down the road from the house, this is the Lower Pack River, right here during the middle of summer, on the hottest days, you will find tons of people floating here in the bend, cooling off... The mountain in the background just to the right of that tree, is the back side of the ski area Schweitzer Mtn.

Is the plural "trouts" or simply "trout"? Regardless, I like mine almondine, please!
