I see you brought out the Superspeed Monroe . Gotta love these DEs. How are you liking the Italian Floïd? I thought the Spanish was the original...but sampling them both, I didn't see too much difference between the two. Thoughts?

I was very against alcohol containing products on my face before, but slowly warming up to the idea...I am really liking combining these splashes with an AS Milk or moisturizer of some sort (like Trumper's or something)...they work great.

    Robert,

Yep, I couldn't wait to give my vintage Gillette a whirl. It brought back fond memories of me watching my father shave in the bathroom when I was a child. I really prefer the TTO or butterfly design of the older Gillettes over that of the Merkurs.

I like all of the Floid products. The Italian "Genuine" and Blue" have a softer powder-like fragrance. I think of the Spanish as having a slightly heavier, lasting scent and more menthol than either of the Italian versions. As for the alcohol...I don't mind at all. I figure that the AS will impart a nice smell along with killing the staph bacteria on my face so I don't get a serious infection from shaving.
