Wednesday Afternoon
A bit of experimenting with todays shave. I usually use a Feather or a DE for my daily head shave. But today, I figured it was time for the real deal again, using a straight for everything above the shirt. It worked out perfect. Smooth all over, after a total of 3+3 passes.
Prep: Good long shower
Brush: TOBS 28mm Silvertip
Cream: Acqua di Parma Colonia
Strop: Kanayama #90K tri-strop
Razor: My gorgeous Alex Jacques Damascus.
Astringent: Thayer's Super Hazel
ASB: Acqua di Parma Colonia
EdT: Acqua di Parma Colonia

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

So you're the one who got this beautiful Jacques. If I'm not mistaken, it's one of the ones Lynn had at the Missouri meeting. If you'll look closely, I'm sure you'll find my fingerprints all over it where I carried it around all day trying to decide whether or not SWMBO would kill me if I showed up at home with it.
