    Klar Kabinett shave soap

Fist time using the Klar soap (thanks again Chris!!). Pretty good overall! Lather wasn't very cushioning but it was very slick! Nice light rose scent with a hint of mint. From the BullGoose website:

Klar Kabinett soap is a Rose Scented shaving soap that is very popular with German barbers. Unlike the Italian Barber's Soaps, the Kabinett soap is a fairly hard soap and is presented in two 250g bars. You can treat the bars as you would a large shave stick or you can load your brush directly from the bar. Regardless of how you choose to use the Kabinett soap, you will be rewarded with mounds of rich, slick and cushioning lather. This soap is very economical as it will last you a very long time.

Gonna use it for a few days and see if I can get the proper water ratio. Think my lather this morning may have been a tad too wet.

    Great pics gentlemen!!

    Default Sunday

An all-French affair today - and what a result!! This is a superb soap and went a treat with the balm. Razor needs a touch up on the stones however.

Thanks, a nice shave and a trip to DRB (Democratic Republic of Beer. They stock over 500 bottled beers) in downtown Miami will make my day.

Lazy Sunday shave today. I'm looking forward to a leisurely walk around the neighbourhood with the dog and the family later.

It's just an end of an. Elk antler with a golden nib badger. Antler ends make great natural brush holders.
