    Hot shower as always
    Warm oil
Truefitt & Hill Lavender Shave cream
    Badger brush
    Home made ceramic bowl
    JR Torrey Barbers Notch
    AOS Aluminum
    Vegetal Lilac
    Vaseline for men

Yesterday I nicked myself. Today I had a great shave. The Truefitt cream really lathers up nice and thick. Passed the BBT no problem!!

    Default Ruby My Dear

That is my new Filarmonia Novodur 14. My girlfriend found it in a flea market in Barcelona for 40 euro. It's never been honed since the factory, has very minor staining, and nice tight original scales. No box but practically NOS. Considering I honed it yesterday, as well as how I got it, this is the finest shaving razor I own. Period. Any one have a Novodur 14 box to spare?
I used Art of Shaving's Sandlewood soap and my Rudy Vey horn brush, followed by some witch hazel and Nancy Boy cooling gel. My lady is back home after nearly 8 months, boy am I glad she got home safe. Have a great week fellas.

    C&E Nomad | Dovo 5/8 | Rooney Heritage | Musgo | SRD Strop

Thanks for the warm welcome in the other SOTD thread, enjoy all these photos myself have more to come!

Today brought out the trusty Dovo and got a good shave using the Nomad soap which I haven't used in a while. Nice clean smell and creamy lather, good for an uber-lather with another cream

    Livi | Bomb Potomac | EverReady w/ TGN Grade A Silvertip | Thayer's Lavender
Bomb ASB | Le Labo Rose 31

What a way to start the day! The Potomac Bomb provide a slick, cushioned envelope of fabulous scent to lubricate the face and the Livi swept the whiskers away without a care. The Rose 31 is the perfect compliment to the citrusy floral of the SC and lifted my spirits. I am prepared to take depositions today!

    Default SOTD 10-7-2010

    rep: Hot shower
Strop: SRD Premium IV Bridle 25 webbing/50 leather
Brush: TGN custom silvertip in a cherry wood handle
    Scuttle: SRD
Uberlather: TGQ "Black Cavendish", AOS Sandalwood cream, 5 drops glycerin
    Razor: W&B "For Barbers Use"
    After Shave: Masters Bayrum
Result: After watching some videos last night, I decided to try 2 passes and really focus on stretching and no pressure (I think I normally do ok on using little to no pressure, but wanted to see for sure). The resulting shave is smooth. Not quite as smooth as when I ad an ATG pass, but almost there. The bay rum had 0 burn when applied...that's gotta be a good thing.

Have a fantastic day gentlemen, you deserve it!
