Just a few pics of my new weapon! Last night's shave was pretty darn good! I'm still not 100% used to such a big blade, but that will come! The razor is pretty near damn perfect, but I'm sure I'll give it a few laps on my coticule once it gets in this week!

The Duck was smooth, as always, but it caught me a few times as I practiced my scythe technique. Reminder to self: Always start the blade down before you make the slight lateral move in the scythe!
I apologize for the lack of clarity in the picture, I just wasn't having much success with the camera this morning. In any event, a great shave, and you gentlemen continue to impress with your SOTD contributions!

    That stumped me!

I've got a 686, that is slated to go to my son, but I've never seen one with that front sight or an unfluted cylinder... Although mine goes back to when S&W first came out with them.

    Nice wheelgun, and great photo!

Result: Allow me first to apologize to this crowd for having to shave this post this SOTD using what may otherwise be construed as an insult. But, despite this fact, I made an extra effort to compensate for this by making a great lather and taking time to prep the beard...and it paid off. the lather was awesome and moisturizing (and very cooling). The shave was effortless.

Sorry about the picture (it's a cell phone image).

Have a great Wednesday gentlemen . I know mine is going to be stuck in a meeting room from 8AM to ~6:30PM. After that, let the fun begin.
Hope the fun will be enough today ...
