I love it. I can easily say it is one of my favorite scents. Wife is still on the fence with it. For me, it reminds me of the good ol' days of grandpa and dad shaving. And it's all Max, yours and Matt's fault (in that order) . When the creme gets here, it will be über-time.
You're right though...No messing around. If I like something, I jump both feet in. I don't waste time testing the waters, so to speak. Besides, at these prices, what's the worst that could happen, right?
Thanks buddy for fueling that AD

Razor: 1948 Gillette Super Speed
Blade: Dorco SS
Shaving Soap/Mug: Mitchell's Wool Fat (All Hail da Fat!)
Lather Bowl: Ceramic
Scuttle: RAB Ceramic
Brush: Semogue 1460 Boar
ASB: Nivea Replenishing
Aftershave/Cologne: Mennen Original Skin Bracer
Results: BBS and refreshing! Lovin' da Fat!
Very mild shave with the '48 SS this morning. The Dorko blade was old and needed to be changed. I finished up with it but reloaded with a Wilkinson SS. (Much better blade!) The '48 SS is a great razor and I got one for my Son to get him started into the Wet Shaving World. For an all around razor you couldn't go wrong with a SS.

-Glen did a great job with this razor, it was my first shave with it. My wife found it at an antique shop in Vegas. It doesn't look very fancy but it gives a great shave!

The big is for the shave, and the little is for the difficult areas (near the nose and the lips...). I 've honed both yesterday I coildn't wait to use them.
About the bottles in the background....I've been collecting some stuff from my early ages , lol!
As we are talking about the childhood..I've attached my only pic in my computer, is small, but I have nothing more
And the stuff in the background, you can see ....
And few others that are coming to NavarreLast edited by du212; 10-22-2010 at 07:24 PM.

Welcome home SOTD
Prep: Hot towel, AOS Sandalwood pre-shave oil
Scuttle: SRD
Brush: Custom TGN Silvertip
Cream: J.M. Fraser's Mosswood
Razor: Boker 201
Result: These were some of the items I won in the October give away (Thanks to all of the contributors!). The shave was great, especially after being away from home all week. The fragance of the J.M. Fraser's Mosswood is very nice and it lathered amazingly. I'm going to have to put their other scents on my list to try! Bill (Str8Razor) honed the Boker and put a mighty nice edge on it. I had been using a round point all week and the spike bit me on the chin (In too big a hurry probably). I finished up with some Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood mmmmm...It's good to be in your own shave den again
Have a great day gentlemen & a fantastic weekend!
