It smells a lot like a fine aged cigar (like the tobacco, not while being smoked). It is sweet, but earthy. I believe it is named after the Arturo Fuente cigar "Chateau de la Fuente Fuente Opus X" which is one of the finest cigars you can find IMHO. As fate would have it, I am traveling with work this week (hence the same razor and gear every day) and I happened into a cigar shop and low and behold they had one in stock (I have had this happen only 1 other time in 10 years). I'm enjoying it as I type this.

You don't have to be a cigar smoker to enjoy this scent, it is just one I truly love. I think SRD sells a sample wedge of it, give it a try, I'm sure you'll love it. It also makes a great uberlather with some sandalwood cream.

    Cheers!

Result: Today, was another Duck day...a Special Duck (#1); one of my Smoooooothest shavers. The combination of CarrieM's creme + MWF + Glycerin was a fabulous recipe for a slick and thick, über-licious lather. The Floïd/Trumper's moisturizer mix provided for a very soothing and refreshing finish. Super prep, super shave, super satisfying .

(The bowl in the Robert Becker Scuttle is very deep and narrow so, I lather in the wider mouth bowl and transfer the loaded brush into the RB Scuttle bowl to soak up the heat and keep it warm throughout the shaving process.) I guess we get a little carried away in our shaving prep and accessories at times but then, that's what makes it so much FUN! LOL
There is no such thing as getting carried away... I saw your Lord Nelson the other day and said to myself "Self, you need to get one of those!". Great collection of "Not really scuttles" you have...I love it!

I rarely shower at this time of day, but spending the morning on my back under the truck convinced me! I'm gettin' too old and too stiff for this stuff!!
The Corneta surprises me every time I use it, as I tend to forget just how good it is... The New Forest Silvertip also was a revelation on da' Fat. I expected a bit less performance than one of my boars, but it proved to me just how versatile it is...
