Brush: AOS Pure Badger
Razor: Dovo Best Quality
After Shave: Nivia for men ASB, Pinaud Clubman
Result: Gotta take the dovo for a touch up on the hones as she is starting to pull. Not a bad shave, just not as good as it could have been.

Sorry for the lack of variety in the gear the last couple of days. My SOTD will be late in the day tomorrow and will be better

Second day in a row that my lather has been very suspect. This was my first attempt with a tallow based hard soap, so maybe that is to blame. As a result, I couldn't tell if my shave was uncomfortable because my edge was too harsh after taking the Engels to the stones, or if I simply felt the lack of good software. In any event, I persevered and wound up with a pretty good shave without too much razor burn.

In the background today is my beautiful wife at age 5. The regal look of her in a kimono dressed up for hinamtasuri cried out for something special, so I finished off the shave with some Windsor. This is truly a special scent!

Tremendous SOTD commemorations this week, gentlemen; keep on posting them!
