Wow, I´ve allways liked this blade and this morning it delivered an amazing shave. Tons of lovely lather and the Ogallala´s so nice. Good one today!

DD Special 1 | Kanayama | Shavemac Silvertip | Bomb Saigon + Ogallala Bay Rum + Glycerin | Thayers Lavender | CarrieM AS Milk
Creed Custom Blend - Royal English Leather/Royal Scottish Lavender

After seeing all those beautiful Ducks yesterday, I realized mine hadn't been out in a while. I may not have any Max'd out blades (yet - two in the queue), Mainaman did a wonderful job with this restoration, and it's always a pleasure to bring out of hiding. The edge is smooth, and the Bomb always makes such a slick cushioned lather, so the shave is nothing short of spectacular.

The custom blend of Creed, which my friendly SA mixed up for me, makes for a rather interesting fragrance. The lavender calms the leather, while the leather adds a layer of complexity to the lavender. I'm liking it, but we'll see how she wears! In the end, I find myself ready for another day with a spring in my step because of the great way it started!

    Robert,

    You're SO right, my friend!

One of my recent razor purchases also cost me an Arthur Court cake stand with an ornate grape motif bottom and glass domed lid - as if we frequently display cakes on our counter. Hey, I'm not complaining: it IS pretty (okay, not as pretty as my recent Max-restored Boker or my Bob Allman) and more importantly it makes her happy.... (love you baby, if you're reading this)
