    Everyone,

Great SOTD's so far this week. I was behind in reading them from yesterday and today. You just made the stress of the last 2 days melt away! Keep the great SOTD's coming! Cheers!

Missed you at your regularly scheduled time, but better late than never. I wish you less hectic days and even more enjoyable and fabulous shaves .

    Indeed yes.

It was when I found it in the closet that It started all this DE and straight madness.

Finally finished a jar of cream and it was the excellent Body Shop Maca Root, unfortunately not from the first batch but a favorite none the less. It's very easy to use, has a thick luxurious cream and is consistent, I personally enjoy it's fragrance too. The "35" razor has been one of my main work horses and provided another excellent irritation free shave today!

Strop: Dovo Prima Rindleder (30 linen, 75 leather)
Prep: Hot water with Nesti Dante bath soap
    Soap: Valobra shave stick
Brush: E-bay Rooney with horn handle
    Razor: Dovo Special 6/8
Post: Cold water splash and then alum block
    After: Old Spice Original Sensitive

It's a holiday in Czech Republic today but a plumber came in the morning to repair the faucet. I picked up this brush and Valobra stick in the post office yesterday. The brush is really soft but quite floppy. I don't like the way how Valobra smells (maybe it'll grow on me later) but it makes really nice leather. I don't know if it was the soap, more stropping or something other but I got my best straight shave yet (in more than 7 months...).
