I just aquired this Chinese 12k and this was my first time using it.
The Kropp is a reliable workhorse, not the prettiest razor but a great shaver. The edge was good but just to get a feel for the C12k I gave it 75 laps starting with light slurry and diluting to plain water.
Result: The Super smooth edge this razor now has gave me an effortless shave and left my face smooth and clean.
    Great stone for $15
Thanks for all the great pics and posts
