    Default MONDAY MORNING SHAVE

PREP: How shower with face scrub
    RAZOR: Genco Goldseal JR.
    BRUSH: PJ3
UBERLATHER: SUPERCREAM with CF limes, and Trumpers Limes.
    ASTRINGENT: LUCIDO
ASB: Bath and Body Works 1702
    EDT: Thierry Muglar "cologne"
    RESULTS: ZEEEESSSSSTTTTTYYYYYYY!!!

I had an itch to do a restore yesterday, so Brought out the goldseal JR, and did a quick one. I kept the tang alone, because eventually i need to unpin it and do that whole part of the tang/ blade but , this thing turned out pretty decent considering Im still learning the restoring process . Honed her up last night and today was the test, would I have any irritation? Well Nope!! Everything about this shave was awesome, Blade glided through my only one day whiskers with ease and left no redness behind, the supercream i used has me smelling of fresh limes and it was an awesome supercream to use, the glide cushion everything. Its days like this that make me glad Im a man

AWESOME PICS GUYS !!!!! AS ALWAYS ENJOY THE DAY!!!!

    Aura Glow
Prairie Creations 15% Shea Butter Shave Cream .. Dragon's Blood
    Vintage dubl-duck shave brush
Gebr. Weyersberg Corneta 078½ Round Point
    SRD Premium I Strop .. 60 Linen/60 Leather
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Pinaud's Lime Sec AS

In today's photo, my attempt was to capture the cold starkness of late fall, early winter in the Northeast U.S.
The metal handle of the old dubl-duck brush, the stone the Corneta was honed on this morning, the glass tabletop that in the summer held so much greenery and shade from the sun, now bare.... But, through it all, I love the bleakness that is winter...

Great shave today... The La Veinette is starting to work for me a bit, but still taking my first uncertain steps...

    Have a wonderful Monday gentlemen.
I love that razor. I have one that needs to be honed and I think I'll have it scaled in Horn.

    Thanks for the compliments...

I like both the Simpsons and the Thater. That being said, I am partial to my Simpsons Chubby 2 and Polo 8. They are great for making lots and lots of lather.

    Bill,
You certainly did capture the "winter" feel...I can feel it in my bones.

Glad the Coti is starting to work out...it is a fabulous stone.

That's one heck of a looker Monroe...Good choice and coupling it to the Thater was an excellent choice
