your Bow-razor in post#66 is amazing. Beautiful blade, nice looking scales.
    Congrats!

BTW: that could be an idea to quote without using any space in the database:
    e.g. 7/66 page 7/ post #66

    Default Tuesday morning

    Pre: Hot shower
    Brush: New Forest silvertip
    Razor: Filly Doble Temple
    Soap: Nannays Citrus Zinger
    AS: Williams Aqua Velva
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very clean
I got a care package from Max in France yesterday and the Aqua Velva is the good stuff, almost like Old Spice Fresh Lime, it sucks right into the skin and makes good there. I like it! Thank you all, for great pictures and inspiration!!

Friodur 8/8 Spanish Point in new Forest Green Micarta Scales by Max
QCS Celestial Woods + Bomb Potomac + Glycerin
    Shavemac Silvertip
    Bomb Potomac ASB
    Creed Windsor

A shave fit for royalty! I picked up this rescale when I visited Max this weekend in Las Vegas. I had given him free reign to choose scales to fit the blade and he did a regal job. The scales are hunter green micarta with a jade ghost wedge. He had to do a tremendous amount of work because it suffered from the dreaded bent tang so common on these Friodurs, but in the end it is a true masterpiece!

    Here is another view:

In addition to rescaling it, Max put an incredible edge on this blade. It paired beautifully today with the QCS and Bomb uberlather. The Celestial Woods brought pine to the table while Potomac brought the floral to balance it out. The creme was divine - rich, thick and slick. The two days growth of beard couldn't run fast enough and I was left with smooth, comfortable skin. The grand finale is the Creed Windsor. I may only be king of my castle here at home, but I feel truly like royalty!

I think thats a great idea, now that we're trying not to quote pictures multiple times, I sometimes find myself scrolling back through several pages to look for a pic that has been commented on.

Thanks for the concern about my daughter. The furniture is my daughters jewelry box which was given to her by her great grandmother.

I love that Henckels . And that's a great analogy with the cars. Never thought of blades that way.
Thanks for the concern about my daughter. What threw me for a loop was that she called and told me she was stopped in the left lane of the NJTP. I could not convince her to either pull off the roadway into the service plaza (which I preferred) or pull over the the right side shoulder. I was scared to death that she would be struck from behind. The women who she played chicken with told her not to move the car or she would charge her with leaving the scene. I tried to explain that she was not in any legal danger but the kid was so upset I could not reason with her in the cell as I drove to her.
I was able to get to her before the NJSP arrived. I expressed my thoughs and feelings to the other driver quite strongly and convinced her that she was not being smart and risking her own life. We then all moved off the roadway into the service plaza. I called NJSP let them know where we were and they came along and took the report. No harm no foul.
when we arrived home I took the time to explain to my youngin the dangers of being stopped in the left lane of any highway and the how dire the consequences could be if struck by an 80,000 lb. truck traveling in excess of 60MPH.

Anyway, thanks again, I owe you a phone call.

I did not respond sooner since my FIOS went belly up last night also. Needless to say I broke my rule about drinking alcohol on a work night!!

I hope everyone enjoys their day!!
