Its excellent stuff on me it lasts more than 24 hours, and the vanilla notes really come out when I wear it, I love it, but IMO its definitely a winter scent

Great week of SOTD's so far gentlemen, I'm to busy tying flies for NZ and next season to shave or take pictures for the time being. Ok I shave, but not every day. Not working for the time being so it's not necessary on a daily basis. Keep the SOTD's coming. You guys

I have to say I do my best with the pictures. I have not taken a picture I would say rivals any of the ones posted in these threads. I never quit, so sooner or later I'll get it. I'd like to blame the equipment but I cannot.

Thanks for all the great photo's. I really look forward to seeing them everyday.

    Default Monday

This is my first attempt at a SOTD but I love looking at what everyone else is using.

    Location: 32°2805N 93°5516W
    Music: Gordon Lightfoot
    Prep: Nice long, hot shower
    Preshave: Proraso
    Strop: Illinois #206
    Scuttle: 1.5 Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Soap: Castle Forbes Lime Essential
    Brush: Vulfix 2233S
    Razor: Dovo “Bergischer Lowe”
    Balm: Castle Forbes Lime Essential
After Shave: Royall Lyme all purpose lotion
Result: Superb! Two passes + touch up left my face very smooth and feeling wonderful. The time was well spent and restful… which is such a pleasant result of shaving like this… a great start to the week.
