Villoresi's vetyver is the most bitter vetyver that I know, it has more woody scent than my recently posted pic .... It's not my preferred vetyver, but the scent is unique and it has the superlative quality of Villoresi's fragances.

This is my first wearing of it. I wanted a big, raw vetiver scent, and LV definitely delivers on that wish!

SUCH a gorgeous shave this morning that I had to post it.

RAZOR: W&B "American" wedge carefully restored by gssixgun
LEATHER CASE: borrowing Leo's, made by ENUF2's wife
    BRUSH: Restored by prophetic_joe
SOAP: Irisch Moos stick, second greatest soap ever (after Old Spice)
STROP: RupRazor Filly strop - still my most effective strop!
A/S: My own concoction of witch hazel, crushed alum block, menthol crystals and lavender essential oil.

I've got some pretty fancy shmancy equipment to choose from now, but I suppose the old favorite basic tools are still old favorites for a reason.

A 7/8 Sheffield wedge, simple leather, little bit of silvertip and some good soap = one happy Leo's daddy.

What a great photo, Grant, and a very touching one...

It touched the heart of an old curmudgeon like myself... I think I got a bit of dust or something in my eye...
I'll pray for the best holiday season ever for your beautiful family...

Just had to use the Filly again today since I am enjoying the edge from the Coticule so much!

They are terrific shavers. Glad you're liking your La Dressante Coti.
