    Default Wednesday Afternoon

Another very hot day in Coffs Harbour and some work in the garden lead to an afternoon shower and shave.
    Prep: Cool Shower/Hot Towel
Strops: Seatbelt Strop, MickR's Kangaroo Hide
    Brush: Comoy Badger
    Soap: Proraso (White)
    Razor: John Hassal Near Wedge
A/S: Nivea Replenishing Post shave Balm
After having some honing frustration this week I decided to shave with a good old reliable razor. This wedge never lets me down. The heavy blade seems to do the work for me and the edge is silent and smooth.
    I really enjoyed this shave.
Hope your week is going well boys.

    Default Wednesday morning

    Pre: Hot shower
    Brush: New Forest, two band
    Razor: Wacker
    Soap: MWF
    AS: Mennen SB
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean
Got a bit stressed this morning (wife wanted a lift and tells me to late ). But my new Wacker delivered, I think it has something special going - it´s a classic Solingen blade, singing and all, but yet it feels more stiff than other... And I love these scales, they´re extremly nice!

One of my favorite razors. It never lets me down. Great shave.
I always like seeing that razor. Looks like it plows through whiskers.

I have not shaved with a wedge but have with a 1/4 hollow and like it. I need to get a wedge like this one and try a shave.

Nice looking Wacker. (never thought I'd ever say that). The Scales are nice looking, what are they made of?
