Very nice Wosty and interesting creme. Vetiver is nice, but not all Vetivers are created equal.

Thanks Matt. Only one of the brothers was there (Allen). Albert was out on business. We had a great time. Once my wife downloads pictures, I (may) share some photos will ya'll.

    Thank you Glenn,
You will really like the Kamisori...It's a different type of shaving, which once practiced/mastered (easily), it provides for a rather enjoyable and delightful experience

This Gotta has been out of the rotation for a couple of weeks. If you remember last time I mentioned that the scales were a little heavy and the tang was too smooth with no jimps. These made it difficult to strop and a little unbalanced to shave with. So, I've had it in the workshop and modified the tang. I also shaved a few millimetres off the bottom edge of the scales.
Tonight was the test run and it performed very well. 2 quick passes (it's 10pm here already) and I'm damn smooth.
FANTASTIC job Grant. Great looking blade (nice pins too).

Post Week of December 26 SOTD - Wednesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Razor: 5/8" Dubl Duck "Special #1", Full Hollow, Spike Point
Brush: 23mm Simpson "Chubby #1", 2, band, Super Badger
Überlather: CarrieM "Spicy Cranberry" Shave Creme + Cella Shave Soap + Glycerin
Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Amber
Results: Today will be a rather short post, I must apologize...we are scrambling to get out of town to beat the snow in the mountains and possible road closures...it's already raining cats and dogs here . I broke out the CarrieM "Spicy Cranberry" today (custom scent - LOVE it - and it will be ordered soon after the new year) and mixed in some Cella for tallow action. Fabulous lather. The Duck had a field day in the snow white cushion. BBS all the way. Well, off to pick up the rental car

Sorry guys...even though Christmas has come and gone (not in spirit though), I loved this Father Christmas so much that I decided to feature it in my shot today before he is packed in a box, 'til next year. Shot was taken yesterday

My next few posts will be from Lake Arrowhead...depending on how much free time I will have on my hands...if you guys know what I mean

    Have a INCREDIBLE Wednesday guys.
