Awesome scent, the Sandalwood uber-lather was just great, lathered easy, and well; slick, good custion, and the scent is incredible.
    STRAIGHTRAZOR13,
Sounds like you gave your face the royal treatment today. And Mozart and coffee? There is no better way to complement a really good shave.

    Robert,
22 deg. F??? We're having a heat wave here (45 deg. F) compared to Lake Arrowhead. At any rate, have fun, stay warm and don't get caught in a blizzard or a mudslide when you go hiking.

I was gone for a minute with my fiance in Montana with my future family. ...and before you folks get excited, that is not a hone! It is a rock I found in the "Boiling River" in Yellowstone Park. I took it home with me as a souvenir and because it sort of looks like a J-Nat.

...and because I did not get a chance at the end of last week, thank you to everyone for their wonderful holiday SOTD's and this week's too!

Great Photo, I always enjoy the lavander scent. Smells like spring in my back yard when the Lilacs bloom.

Sounds like something you get when you pay a lot of money at a spa.

Either way, great photo. I like rocks also!!

I have not shaved since last Saturday when I cut myself. I have a semi-beard now and told my wife I decided to grow a full beard. I was kidding, but she looked at me and with a very happy face stated " You couldn't have decided that until AFTER you bought all that shaving stuff."
I laughed and told her not to worry, I'll be clean shaven for New Years.

I want to wish everyone a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

Enjoy and be safe. Remember, New Years is amateur night. Be careful on the roads please.

Thanks Monroe...It was so relaxing, not much time for hiking or photography. It was a simple day (love it)

    Welcome back Frank,
But I must say that I think you're brushing the main subject with talk about Rocks...So, did you guys seal the deal in Montana (I hope so) with a "real" rock (hint, hint)? Forget JNat/Yellowstone man...incquiring minds want to know. Hey, even JNats are rocks...who knows, under such volcanic pressures, if you polish/lap that thing, maybe it'll be better than a JNat (with a grit factor of 10,000,000).

Great shave buddy...Love your FON. L'Occitane Vetyver has a fantastic smell (not too long of a staying power with my skin chemistry...maybe 3 hrs or so). L'Occitane has become my wife and I's favorite stores (we've picked up a few bath soaps and other things)...thanks for hooking us up bro

    Hi Jeff,
Awesome time...but no pictures today (sorry buddy)...I was in relaxed/lazy mode.

You're right about amateur night. Tomorrow night, we'll hook up with my sister and family (and 15 or more other family members) in Big Bear for new year (in one of the cabins)...no amateurs and no driving...and possibly no sleep.

You guys rock...this is for you

Thanks for the compliments Robert! We did not seal the deal in Montana, although, it seems like a great place to do it. The actual date is in August of 2011 and it will most likely be here on Long Island out in Wine Country.

As far as L'Occitane goes, it's a great store with great products. The soap is one of my favorites and I have been using the aftershave balm which is most definitely my new favorite. I will look into their bath soaps.

The Vetyver is strange. Today, it lasted all day on my skin. I still could smell it 10 hours later. However, the previous time I wore it, I could not smell it 2 hours after I sprayed it. I think the trick is to spray it closer to the skin to concentrate it. That is what I have noticed.

Anyway, it's good to be back!
