Oh my...sorry. My bad. I totally missed that it was the Proraso SC and the JB lube you used. The JB tube looked like the creme. Sorry maestro.

But yes...the creme is really nice. Great cushion and by virtue of it being unscented, it lends itself to me mixed with any scent soap.

Rene...this is what I suggested to Glenn:

Do single quotes at a time and before publishing, combine them together and then publish. I hope it makes sense. Problem is that you can still use 7 images/smilies...so, I put all of mine at the end

Today was a dark, smokey shave with a dark smokey EDP to follow. Also, this Filly was last honed in the beginning of August my Max. I have used it at least once a week since then and last night was the first time it saw a stone since August. A testament to a fine razor and Max's skill.
    Frank,
What a great (yet dark) shave. The Le Labo sounds like a wonderful scent...Bill introduced me to the Le Labo Rose and I love it...haven't picked one up yet, but will soon. I was thinking about some of their Bergamot and other scents to sample and will (hopefully) soon go to LuckyScent (in Los Angeles) to see what they have.

...and yes, those edges a la Max are legendary and they last. I don't know what he does, but any blade he touches fall under his magical spell. That's what set apart a honemeister from the rest.

    Default Saturday

    Pre: Hot shower
    Brush: Rooney Victorian
    Razor: Boker
Soaps: Penhaligon´s English Fern + Palmolive stick
    AS: Mennen SB
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean
I really like the Penhaligon soap, but it would be great if it was slightly more slippery and it worked out really nice together with the Palmolive stick . And this blade rocks, stunning how close you can get with it!

No pics from me tonight, I was test shaving 3 different razors. My honing passed the test well, I'll have something nice to show you tomorrow night.

No shave today, just a first wearing of a new vintage scent:
