Makes me anxious to get my custom Buddel! Gorgeous blade!
BTW, wish the Misses a very Happy Birthday!
Yes, it was early. I had to wake up, shave and drive 150+ miles to Fort Indiantown Gap, PA where I was teaching classes to the National Guard. As we used to say in the Army: We do more before 9 AM than most people do all day!
Gentlemen, the week is starting off in tremendous style; of course, how could it not when it is lead off by that Maxtacular custom by our own Maximilian (even if Vivi got no props on the blade)!
Great looking shave, Glenn. I like the Shades of Grey!Last edited by Maximilian; 01-10-2011 at 04:03 AM. Reason: merged posts

Today was a long drive to Penn State and back. About 500 miles. While we were there we did the required shopping. Got home, grabbed some left overs for quick bite, and then watched the GB/Phil game. Half time I jumped onto the hot shower.
Warm Oil
Hannah Ceramic Bowl
AOS Lavender Shave cream with 5 drops of glycerin
Custom Badger
1959 DE Fatboy, Wilkinson blade.
AOS Aluminum
Pinaud Bay Rum
Vaseline for men.
First time shaving with a DE in better than 30 years. I actually was taught to shave by my Dad with a DE. I bought the Wilkinson blades today in Walmart. 10 blades for $1.86. All I can say is I need to get more of them The blades were sharp but very smooth. I got a close shave which was tested with the BBT and passed. I will say that the Pinaud burned like the old days. After shaves stopped burning my skin after a few weeks with the Str8s. I guess my hand was too heavy with the DE.
Anyway, Back to the game, Enjoy!!“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
