Fido/Peter has done it, again. This is a fantastic brush! Soft bristels, plenty of soaking abillity and a lather master indeed. The Helje preformed like mad aswell, very nice one today!!
    Mikael,
Nice gear. How do you compare the feel between the 2221 HM and 2211 Silvertip?

You know, I was in touch with Peter before he released this brush and was thinking about getting me one of these, but I just don't like flat tops. I know he is going to be expanding his inventory to other sizes and handle material soon too. Can't wait to get my hands on one of his HM badger at 25 or 26mm knot (bulb shape)

Incredible shave today! I cannot believe this soap costs less than five dollars! Amazing. Excellent SOTD's everyone!
    Frank,

    Thank you robert!

Itīs a bit early to say (three test lathers and one live one), but first impression: softer bristles and better abillity suck up water and soap. The fan shape I like = more badger hair on the face . I tend to like them a little stiff and I got one with short loft (45 mm). Iīm very happy with it this far.

I hear you Mikael...looking forward to a more thorough report after a few weeks of use.

    Bruce,
Nice blade my friend. I had missed seeing your collection. It's like seeing them for the first time all over again.

Haha...That's the plan, LOL. In fact, tomorrow is also Shave day-off. So, Monday will be the day. The shave feels so much more wonderful after 2 days of break.

I am not much of a football fan, but I enjoy the 1/2 time commercials. Very creative.

Another beautiful blade. I need to find out where you live and when you'll be on vacation, LOL.

    Hey Rich,
It's always great to see you and your gear around SOTD. In fact, I would say it's a first class treat. Nice blade and scuttle. In fact, I ordered one (same Double Scuttle) from Julie a little over a week ago (color: blue rim on spice)...Can't wait to put it to good use. I am getting a little bored with the HotPot Express everyday and needed a little variety in my shave den, LOL.

    Thank you Robert.

It has been a tough few weeks around here, running around with so little time and more things than I can remember to do. LOL.

    I do miss posting SOTDs.

    Regards,
    Lu

So, is there a course you guys take to make photo's like these? I don't post here normally because I feel like the poor cousin. I do have a nice Nikon camera, lighting, and even a light box, and Corel, but I honestly don't have the time to do what you guys do, I give you credit for your wonderful photos.

Not a bad shave, The Duck needs a tune up. I don't use the Wonder's that often. They should feel like a NOS Filarmonica. That's the closest I can describe it. Wonderful Shaver's. If you haven't tried Prairie Creations soap, your missing out. It's tallow based. Good stuff...

+1000 Amazing photography! With good equipment and all the time in the world I am afraid that I couldn't match the effects of lighting and color that I see here. You just have to set it up and "see" it before you open the lens. Hats off to the shutterbugs here! Lots of real talent. Oh, . . and the gear ain't bad either.

You all inspire me to keep trying. Maybe I'll have something for tomorrow. Many thanks.
