Not a lot of freeze in the Gillette, but just enough to feel refreshed. A very nice shave today. I still haven't been able to get BBS with a straight, but I'm making progress. There are some really good pictures today of some awesome blades. Have some great shaves today gentlemen.

    Preshave: Hot shower
Razor: F. Herder Abr. S. Solingen No. 20 (6/8", full hollow, muted square point)
    Strop: DOVO Cowshide
Brush: My new Shavemac 410 28mm
Superlather: Tabac and TBS Maca Root
AS: hot towel, cold towel, Alum, cold towel, Nivea Balm Sensitive
Result: A perfect near BBS shave. Zero irritation, 3 small cuts on the upperlip from a wrong ATG move, but the were gone after a cold towel.
The Tabac and Maca root really complement each-other's fragrance, it'll be my goto superlather from now on. The lather was very dense, moist and slick. I'm very happy with the brush, it's breaking in nicely.
Tomorrow I have a funeral from one of my mothers friends, this shave will last till then. Enjoy the friday gentlemen!

    @all:
    thanks for your greetings, friends.
Yes, now I'm 54 years old, but need no wheelchair!
There are some things left I'll do in my life.
e.g. buying some razors from Max; traveling to Israel and the USA; doing a good job everyday; getting good friends in this forum...

I payed off, usually Nannys soaps needs much water and for this new formula I used even more (at least it felt so for me). Anyhow - Success - slick and protective lather in mass. This new formula is nice, aka da tits!

Congrats Mikael...it's always nice to figure the formula for lather with each soap.

It was topped off with the DC 1913, which is a rose scent that really didn't grab me, but the wife liked it and asked me to wear it tonight because we have our weekly date night. And who's going to argue with a beautiful woman on date night?
Great shave buddy...sorry about the lather.

PS: Even if you argued, chances are they will win before you can even figure out that you lost. These creatures that we date and/or marry are waaaaaay smarter than we men are, LOL. Have fun on your date.

One at a time. Formulate your response to post #1 by opening a new window in your browser by hitting the "quote" button, but DON"T POST YET. Go back to the forum post window and post #2. Hit "quote" and open in new window. Formulate response. When done, Cut and paste below Post #1. Repeat until you are finished. Hope this made sense.

PS: Problem is you can't use more than 7 'smilies'...So, I stopped using them for the most part.

    Rene,
That's pure and utter torture. Like going to the water, but not being able to drink, LOL. No worries, tomorrow you will have an even better experience shaving.

    BB,
Fantastic choice in hardware (and software). I have to try the Maca Root thing (where did you get it from?). Glad you're enjoying the Shavemac...fabulous craftsmanship.

PS: Sorry to hear about your mom's friend. My condolences.

Well, I picked this baby up in the classifieds this week from "Angeleyes." The scales by Max mesmerized me and I had no control over the purchase. Needless to say, I am glad for my "involuntary" purchase as this thing shaved like an absolute dream.

Thanks Rene! Well, it´s ok, or even very good razor considering that it´s a new production. They can´t really make them like they used to anymore, unless it´s a custom one and then it get´s £$£$ fast.

Yep, it´s sweet. I should have goten it faster though, being my favourite brand and all
