Another long, long day. Came home and before I did anything took a long hot shower and shave. Second thing I did was post here. After a bowl of soup and early to bed.

    Today's SOTD:
Hot shower, Stephan's rubbed into the whiskers
    Warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Nancy Boy Shave Cream
    Custom Badger Brush
    Genco, Easy Aces
Stropped on a SRD Paddle 50 laps
    Lilac Vegetal
    Vaseline for Men

Great shave after a long day.

Today has a little bit of a theme. The IXL masterfuly done by Max is a celebratory razor. I had Max do it to celebrate my divorce. I shall quote from the book and gospel acording to my EX "I dont believe child support. If you cant afford them you shouldn't have them" Ah yes. This said after she has yet to pay a DIME in support. HELL YES im celebrating!! The Salter is a congratulations gift from Bill for the divorce! Thank you Bill. This stuff is awesome. That leaves the HIGH CLASS. Bill was very generous to hone it for me on his Jnat for me to compaire against my own honing. Bill . Buttery smooth! Fantastic job. 2 passes for my shave with no need for a third. This razor is one of those" YEA over my dead body" would i get rid of. After my last shave with the IXL i realized i didnt strop. That made a huge difference for me. That blade sings like Mariah Carey!

    Tony miller strop
    New forest "Bought from Matt"
Tabac + Salter Vetiver + Glycerin
    IXL + High Class
    Witch Hazel
    Skin food
    TAOS Balm

    Mikael,
No, not Rooney...Morris & Forndran (but not sure if Rooney made them). Great brushes. Not as stiff a backbone as my Shavemac 2-band, but stiff nonetheless with a loft size of ~56mm. Fantastic brush and a joy to use.

Nice "quacking" shave Jim, LOL. Gotta love those Ducks.

Nice blade Oscar. If you enjoy the SRD Lavender scent, you will also enjoy the scent of D.R. Harris' lavender soap or CF Lavender. Wonderful to the core.

Ha Ha Ha...too funny Moonbeam. I will try looking for "Dubl Sheep" razors, LOL. That would put your mind at ease and make you go to sleep faster counting sheep rather than ducks, LOL

    IXL + High Class
Nice shave and theme Rene. Aren't you glad that your Ex is no longer in your life? You and your kids deserve better.

Max did a wonderful job on that IXL and Bill was generous to hone it on his JNat. I am surprised that he returned it, LOL.

As for the Mariah Carey analogy, I will never look at a singing blade the same way ever again, LOL.
