I think I spend about an hour in the bathroom pampering myself from the shower to the final Bay Rum splash.. A very memorable shave. We'll also have a new SOTD theme starting next week so keep an eye out on the main SOTD forum for more info. Wishing everyone a superb SOTD.

Max, well done sir. Again.
Great kit and pics guys, cannot wait for the themed week!
PS. I almost feel like re-posting my last SOTD picture since that Clauss left me stubble free until now... and because I really liked it and I won't get to post another until I have some hair to shave.

Whoa, very nice so far chaps! Love the new razor, Max.
Today's is a double test shave:
New Forest 2211 silvertip; Ern 1360; G Myers in ripple ash; Nanny's sandalwood soft soap; Musgo Real Classic aftershave.
The Myers is en route to a new owner. Officially it's just in for honing, but I'll be tightening it up a little and giving the scales a thin coat of oil so that it's looking its best. Nice to see this one again, I'm still pleased with it.

Thanked: 10721000th PostHave a great week boys, thanks for all the posts and pics.
Location: Coffs Harbour Australia
Strop: Illinois 835
Brush: Comoy Badger
Soap: Tabac
Razor: Bengall Full Concave 11/16
A/S Balm: Nivea Replenishing Post Shave
A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
I wanted a special shave for this special occasion, and so went with the latest addition to my collection. I just gave the Bengall the finishing touch today with 10 laps on the Chrome Oxide.
Result: Absolutely fantastic shave, the edge on this baby is superb. Three passes and I now have the best BBS of my shaving career.
