Result: A late post today. The shave was about noon, but I haven't had time to post until now. I love this blade, it has such heft and grace. A very nice shave this morning, approved of by my 2 year old, Lily Kate, who ran her hand down my face and said “Smoooooth Daddy”.

AMAZING pics and posts already this week gentlemen!

Max, I have to say that YOU ARE AWESOME! That humpback is beautiful my friend!!!

WOW, so many beautiful razors and posts in the last 24 hours. Matt (thewatermark) and Jose your pictures stand out as the highlights for me. Great shots IMO.
No shave for me tonight, I'll have something for you tomorrow.

Glenn, we have already discussed that I have a daughter Lilly, but my wife's name is also Kate. Cool Coincidence.

    Tuesday, March 8th

    Razor: Wilkinson Sticky
    Blade: Schick Plus Platinum
Brush: Rooney Beehive in Two Band
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Soap: Wilkinson Shave Stick
A/S: Acca Kappa Cedar aftershave splash

An excellent shave. The Wilkinson Sticky and Schick Plus platinum blade continue to work their magic. I am 5 shaves in on this blade and it is still going strong. The Wilkinson Shave Stick was a pleasant surprise -it produces a rich creamy lather and has very good skin conditioning properties. My only complaint is that the scent is a bit stronger than I prefer but, it will no doubt fade as it sits uncovered. The Acca Kappa Cedar aftershave, another new purchase, was very nice. It has a subtle scent and left my face feeling great.

This will be my last post for about a week. I am going to Tampa Florida for a Shrine's International Seminar and I won't be able to post. It looks like I will be going back to the "Dark Ages" and using a Track2 Cartridge for a week (YUK!) I will be looking forward to having a great shave with one of my favs when I get back. Take care my Brothers and see you all when I get back. Until then....SHAVE ON!

Thanks Tom! After spending a winter in the Pacific Northwest, it will be nice to see some sunny warm weather and a warm Ocean for a change. LOL

    Pre-Shave: Shower
    Brush: Vestavia 25mm Silver Tip
Razor: Boker Edelweiss 5/8 w/ bone scales
    Strop: SRD 3" Premium I - 30/50 fabric/leather
Lather: SRD West Indies Bay soap, G.O. Bigelow/Proraso Cream, glycerin
    Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender)
    After Shave: Nivea Replenishing Balm

This was a great shave. The Proraso/bay rum scent combined nicely and made a rich lather. I'm really starting to get the right touch, no razor burn or nicks this shave and still nice and smooth.
