Simple as a hammer but the razor was indescribably keen a went through my stubble like butter. British Sterling being another of my Dad's go-to scents, a raise my coffee cup and say, here's to ya Pop. Funny how a smell can bring back so many memories.

Default Does this look like Ivory?

    Prep Hot Shower
    Strop: Illinois 835
    Brush: FS Finest Badger
    Soap: Proraso
Razor: Superior Razor 5/8 near wedge
    Astringent: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel
    A/S Balm: Nivea Replenishing
    A/S: David Craig Bay Rum
Result: I ran out of lather after 2 passes but that was enough to satisfy me. A nice clean, near BBS was a nice way to wrap up the week. Might have a shaveless night tomorrow, but i look forward to seeing all your posts.
One more thing, for those of you who know ivory. Do these scales look like they might be made from ivory?
    Have a great weekend boys

Actually Rene & Bruce, it's my new hot tub and it seats 8! Thanks Robert, I was reading through the reviews and saw you had one also (it helped me make the decision as you've never steered me wrong on a piece of shaving gear). No doubt, this thing is HUGE! Julie @ Dirty Bird Pottery (she's fantastic to deal with by the way) warned me before I got it, yet I knew that I wanted this beast after reading all the positive reviews of it. I must say that it is so nice to not be making a constant "klink, klink, klink" sound when whipping up lather anymore (especially @ 5am where I run the risk of awaking my 2 year old). It holds its heat very well and overall I'm just amazed with this thing!
